Got a free ticket to Riot Fest from someone on Reddit. Sunday is probably the weakest day off the lineup, but still has good stuff.

It also makes me happy to see those old socal punk bands like pennywise still going strong. I was never a huge fan or anything, but it is funny to see a bunch of 50 year old dudes from Hermosa Beach still doing their thing.

The Rams look great in their yellow and blue Color Rush uniforms!

I just love to see them in blue and yellow rather than the absurd blue and white they've decided to go with for their regular uniforms. Really, the Rams royal blue and yellow uniforms are among the very best in the history of the NFL. And so to mark their return to Los Angeles, they choose to go with one of the most boring uniforms in the league. I don't understand.

I feel you. They ruined my favorite hockey team's jersey (Devils of New Jersey) by changing it just for the sake of change. Looks like a cheap knockoff now.

Also the Circle K logo. I'm still pissed about that. There was one on my way to work that still had the old sign, but they updated it last week. I mourn the loss of the rounded font and blue outline.

I love the Circle K logo because they made sure the circle was not exclusive, but rather inclusive of diverse communities and lifeways. They did this by having the lower right leg of the K break through the circle. I am not even kidding that is the message they were trying to send.

Didn't the old logo have the lower right leg breaking through the circle, too? So weren't they already welcoming of diversical communities and all lifeways, whether normative or alternativish?

I need to know, so I can decide if I'm outraged or not.

Yeah, but there was a blue outline around the K, representing the cordon the police state has around said diverse communities and lifeways.

SF-approved CBD on Jeopardy! tonight. Wonder if it's one of our own. (Based on the pocket square, maybe not.)

Oh i do love to be beside the seaside. Have a week on the Central Cost with Mrs GF to celebrate twenty seven years together. Tonight off to bombini one of best restaurants in this neck of the woods for a night of frivolity, repast and fine wine.
