Making me happy: Today I saw the Grand Canyon. Which was awesome. Pics can't do it justice, especially not shitty cellphone pics, but here goes.

And of course, when visiting the Grand Canyon, heed this warning:

One paper to do and I'm through with law school. Our school rounds our GPAs to the tenth of a point, and I am right on the verge of getting rounded up - which will have a substantial effect on my class rank - so I should have plenty of motivation to finish strong. But Christ it's tempting to just turn something shitty in and go drink beer on a patio somewhere until it's time to move home!

A good family friend just told me he and his family will be living in Egypt next year, where he will be lecturing and conducting research as a Fulbright Scholar at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Library of Alexandra). Fucking badass!

I'm moved in. Hellish couple of days but the hard part is done. Just have some unboxing to do now. Then, as my first order of business, I'm gonna find a taco bell. After that I need to find a damned job.

    Congrats Dbags.

To add to this, I just found out a running mate from high school just ran the Boston Marathon and finished 159th. I know that in StyleForvm land where everyone is the fastest, smartest, best looking, most athletic, and most well dressed person they know, it's not a big deal. But 159 out of 22,000 is pretty damn impressive to me.
Happy that good things are happening to people in my life.

Ah, this belongs in the angry thread for me. Life would so much easier right now if this were the case for me.

I suppose the interpretive dance you did for your final project went over well.
