1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I found out that the last name of the Texas Rangers' second baseman is Odor. He was in the news recently with some enjoyable headline puns like "Odor socks Bautista in the face" or something like that

A fun fact: Rougned Odor's younger brother Rougned Odor is in the Rangers farm system.

Can't believe how many places will do a full shakedown when your pet has the slightest ailment.

"Yes, uhh we have this list of tests, please check off which ones you would like us to do" (each of them are >500 each)

Apparently I got pretty happy over taking a valium before my vasectomy on Friday.  The wife keeps laughing at me.  I remember most stuff (like things already spinning 15 mins after taking) but I guess I got real happy talking to all the people.  So happy the doc was talking about I was the only patient he has seen whose blood pressure went down after surgery started.  Glad I respond well to meds.

On the sad side L'inc, the brother to my cat passed away last Thursday.  He was with an old coworker and the coworker called to thank me for the time he got with the cat.  I knew most of the people who got the cats in the litter and I believe that my cat is the only one left.
Edit: here is an old pic of them as kittens. Mine is on the left

They should just put the items in gomestar's cart, because he'll be too embarrassed to remove them when he notices them for the first time during the check-out process.

What cute kittens they were! I hope your cat has a lot of good years left.

I just made an appointment to take Diderik to the oral surgeon. Hopefully we can get his problems resolved once and for all.

Fuck that guy. There needs to be more consequences to him beyond being able to walk away from the whole lawsuit

Just finished a confernce call with the Tennelsee Titans regarding their name I proposed that they change it to the Tithans subconsciously encourage people to tithe to their churches basically perform a important public service. I was told they'd put their marketing team to work on it I would get a small percentage of merchant-dice if they went with my suggestions.

Nah. He felt moderate remorse. That should be enough.

I did appreciate how he talked about the story like it was something that just existed as a separate entity from himself: "I was wrong to pursue this matter and use the media to perpetuate this story" as if he was merely running with a story he had learned, instead of fabricating the story entirely by himself and then chasing it like a rabid dog.

    Mistakes were made.
Stories turned out to be somewhat less than true.
    Moderate remorse was felt.
