1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Direct paste from my Facebook wall from a bartender at my local joint:

As per our conversation last night re people creating their own narratives for you: two girls came up to the bar asking where attractive Dracula went. From now on you will be known as "attracula"

    Overheard conversation:

A: Sometimes the mind has got a mind of its own, you know?
B: The mind doesn't have a mind, it is the mind.
A: Well how does the mind decide what to do if it doesn't have its own mind?
B: The mind has a executive and legislative branch like the govermint.
A: Okay but then there's gotta be a king.
    B: smh.

Like the draft for the Civil War? I think that's legit. You should consult an attorney though.

Really? I always agreed with their position about Kim Jung Un being the sexiest man alive.

Edit: Too late on that one.

the ponderous, easy grace of an obese man riding a motorcycle.

it's like watching the comic waddle of a sea lion become aquatic oeuvre.

I wrote a song called "View Your Scripty's" it is about how much I enjoy reading posts that have been added to the threads I have subscribed to.

♫ It's time to view dat scripty's / see what the posters han wrote / but don't get chippy / if what they typed ain't te groot

(I had to resort to Dutch to make the rhyme come out you'll just have to deal with it.)

I can't even imagine living in a place with no attractive women. My morning commute is like the playboy mansion.

Lucky bastard. The obesity rate here is only 32.1%, I thought it'd be higher. Yeah downtown on the weekends is pretty abysmal, am considering buying one of those eastern european wives off a human trafficking site instead of pursuing local "red snapper"

The Publix at Vinings, Colony Square to about 10th street from 1030-230, any of the softball teams in the Atlanta Sports and Recreation League... seriously dude. It's like 55/45 here. I mean, not that it helps me or anything.

I miss @archetypal_yuppie. I wonder where he has been. I will be close to him in San Antonio next month. My thoughts will be with him.

I am wearing a shirt that has stripes that are different shades of pink. Also there is lots of flowers in the design. I think it is the quintessential Linkadessen garment.

I think it would be even better if it had drawings of yellow Maybachs on it as well
