Listening to a pair of Polk LSI25s that I bought off of eBay for my HT setup. I don't have a center channel yet, nor all the HDMI cables I need, so I am sitting here listening to Kind of Blue on iPhone plugged into the Nakamichi TA-4A I also got off of eBay (for $99 -- untested AS-IS, but works perfectly minus some static when turning the volume knob).

    Seriously good sound.

Went to a local paint store and found out there is a product that paints right over 1950's quadruple lacquered wood trim with no sanding or deglosser. Just saved me probably a month of my life.

I don't subscribe to the audiophile BS.

Just pulled my 11# brisket out of the smoker, after 12 hours of cooking. Very nice! Now it's in for another hour, all wrapped up in foil, with a finishing sauce poured on it. This is going to taste so good tailgating on the mall at the huge football game today [IMG]

Sounds delicious and like high class tailgating. I saw a lot of very nice spreads at a game yesterday, and enjoyed one myself [IMG] . Which game are you attending today?

They are making a film version of Bel Ami!

But it stars sparkly vampire Robert Pattinson... but it will have Kristin Scott Thomas!

Isn't Bel Ami the name of a ghy porn company?

ahem (yes). Sadly, I found THAT out the hard way when searching Amazon.com for the Cologne. Now I search Hermes Bel Ami, and sadly, that has now tripled in price due to Hermes tightening their distribution.

But, OTOH, mine is a fickle heart, and I found two testers of Nicole Miller for Men: $13.13 each, shipped. AT my burn rate, I'll be wearing this when I'm 80.
