1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Today was basically a day of people getting upset at me for supernumerary acts. But I responded by putting on a pair of shabes and saying "deal with it."

One of the worst pre-irrelevance episodes, arguably the shark jumping moment.

Why? It had some of the snappiest jokes, Homer had a familiarity with Walt Whitman (maybe one of their finer absurdist jokes), it offered great character development for Homer and the end is really heartbreaking. I watched it again on Sunday and knowing how it all plays out makes it all more poignant. And you have to keep reminding yourself that you're watching a cartoon.

So I've been running a lot lately (did 2 km in 30 min on Sunday whatwhat! But I usually only do like 1.5km in 25 min) and I realized I am turning into Thomas.

I'm not saying it was a poor choice as an excellent episode, but I don't even think it's the best Simpsons episode, so it's interesting to me that you'd pick it as TV's GOAT.

1.6 kilometers = 1 mile. So you "ran" a little over a mile in 30min?
