Great news this morning. On my train there were these two very overweight black women being very loud and animated. They were talking all kinds of shit to each other across the isle. When my stop was about to come up I let out an easy, quiet fart. I was hoping I'd be off the train by the time of the release, but alas all of a sudden I hear "Ahhhhh!!!! Ugh!!!!!! Somebody farted!!!!!! Das nasty!!!! Uggghhhhh!!!!!! Rye befo' da train stop somebody farted!!!!" Then I walk off giggling to myself and as the doors close I hear "It was him!!!!!" Why yes. Yes it was.

I woke up, went for a run, went to mass, get to the office and have movement on several big sales, had no red lights on the way in, didn't have to wait for a crosswalk or elevator... I am like shiting gold over here.

Edina apparently turns into a very old Latina woman for a little bit on Wednesday mornings

There's a lot of Latinos that go to Church in my neighborhood, I really think it is just an excuse to get drunk and listen to music.

First of all, I'd say bourbon is the fad these days.

Secondly I bet you have not really explored tequila.

The high end* can be quite good and also nicely varied, which makes it interesting like Scotch. It is not snooty, which might be a problem for you.

There's always some jerk off who has got to set me straight by saying I've not had the good ones. I have. I have friends who love the stuff and have helped me explore it. What makes it tequila is what makes it suck. Furthermore anything you have to only have the good ones to enjoy is inherently flawed, imo. Cheap bourbon is drinkable, cheap tequila is like poison.

You mention scotch, I feel the same way about scotch as I do tequila for the most part, however high end scotch is much more palatable than high end tequila.

Number onely, one could argue this is true for all liquors/beers/wines.

Number twoly, I don't think there is anything inherently true about your statement. It is certainly not convincing. We could go into a billion examples...

Number threely, there are differences of extent and there are differences of kind. As you presumably know from conversations with jerk offs, tequilas at the low end are often not made of the same stuff nor the same way as tequilas at the high end. Despite this they are all called tequila. When there is a difference of kind in a set, disparaging kind A because kind B sucks makes no sense.

I've had disgusting drinks of all kinds. Yes, cheap badly made tequila is bad. No one (or maybe few people) contests that.

This greatly deminishes my estimation of your value as a judge of alcoholic beverages, for what it's worth.

there's plenty of wines that can be enjoyed even if they're not good. They just have to not be bad. If they're on the better side, they're called "delicious" wines (according to the wine foraz), and they're poured for things like picnics or afternoon siesta. Nothing fancy, just solid wine for $10-15 a bottle. I don't fully agree with Booth on tequila, but do find that quaffing tequila doesn't really exist, or at least it's not easy to find.

I'm a gin and bourbon man. Always have been, always will be. That's another attribute of tequila drinkers. They get whiney when people don't like their piss water.

I can't get into Scotch. The only one that I had that I felt was drinkable was Mccallen 18. All of the others have this schmaltzy aftertaste.
