1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

But here's the thing... the new policies put in place by the NCAA are... the exact same protocols that Joe Pa followed. The point being that the initial controversy over Penn State was bullshit. JoePa did what he should have done. He was acting upon allegations FFS. And anyway, what the hell is the purpose of vacating wins? There was no on-field cheating or advantage gained so at best its hurting players who weren't impacted. I'm not trying to trivialize things but the NCAA really fucked up the Penn State thing and a lot of shit was spread on PSU's name that... should never have happened tbh.

Oh you... you cheap fucking whore. Watch your goddamn back, bitch.

    You're welcome.

OTOH, the very name of your law school had already suggested the insertion of a phallus into a male of the previous generation.

there is some truth to that, but it was named after a founding father, not a kid toucher.

Sorry for bragging here, but I discovered a new thing to do that basically kicks ass makes me feel good about myself but also advances the cause of true social justice. Whenever I see a person advocating for some justice issue, I shout them down (by using my "outdoor" voice of loudness). I accuse them of ignoring intersectionality and silencing the grievances of all those who are wronged by injustices other than the ones the speaker is yimmer-yammering about.

Alleged rapist. Needs to have a pre-trial motion filed to exclude certain websites he may have visited from coming in as evidence. Without some money on the table it ain't happenin'.

Fvck ya! Have not said anything in fear of jinxing myself. Leaving in 10 minutes to go sign the closing paperwork on our rental house, formerly just our house. That fucking millstone around my neck is gone!

You know how in movies with hispanic characters the hispanic characters sometimes throw in random Spanish words to remind the viewer that they are hispanic characters? I mean like "To me the most important thing of all is familia, family." Well I have started doing the same thing in real life, except with Dutch words instead of Spanish ones. I'm like "Spinoza was one of the greatest philosophers of his eeuw, century." Or "Excuse me, but I must needs withdraw some money from the flappentap, ATM."

Anyone here live in Chicago? What's it like to live / work there? How about driving? Culture? Weather (I'm assuming it's like Boston's seasons)?

It's crazy to think about, but I'm approaching my 1-year anniversary of my gig and I've always planned on switching up at that point. Thinking of NYC, Chicago, or Austin (depending on how my side biz takes off).. maybe even LA / San Diego, but unlikely.
