1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Eating ramen for dinner, drinking High Life, eating Nutella out of the jar for dessert, and watching Bad Grandpa on Netflix. These are the things I do when my wife is out of town. I Am An Adult.

I've been feeling really creative as of late, so I decided to sign up for the Dutch Styleforum and develop a new online persona. I'm gonna be "The guy who wears lavender pants and listens to Faster Pussycat."

The Kissing Suzy Kolber website did make Halloween versions of all the NFL logos. Here's the Rams:

I'm the only scrooge not handing out candy to children in my apartment building.

Then again as a lone guy in an apartment parent's nerves should be settled. I remain wary of any lone guy in an apartment who chooses to hand out candy to children.

I shooed away some kids earlier (i have no candy for you!) and the parent says….fuck him, he's looking at porn, lets go…..I was reading Styleforum.

Is that really how bad parenting has gotten? The kids were like 8 ish...

I reminded my son when we set out that he needed to remember his manners, and he said "thank you" at every single house without having to be prompted. He even got extra candy at one house because he was so well mannered. It was really kind, actually. The lady of the house gave all the kids candy, and my son said "thank you." The man of the house heard my son, beckoned him back, and told him he was getting extra candy for being polite.

Not sure if that's an indictment or positive statement on modern parenting, since I guess it means most kids are ill mannered, but I had to take the chance to brag on my well-mannered child and mad parenting skills. Plus, it should reassure you that some of us are trying to get it right.

Also, they were douches, but you were kind of asking for it with the no candy thing. Gotta turn those lights off if you're not gonna deliver the goods.

Some children came to my home for trick or treating activities just now. Instead of giving them candy I gave them a lecture about the importance of faith. The parents appreciated how I provided the children not with nourishment for the body, which doth perish, but for the soul, which persisteth in being. (I didn't have any candy forgot it was Halloween.)
