1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Story of true fact:
Swingline did not make staplers in color of red, so the crew of Office Space spray painted one as such. After the movie, enough people requested staplers of color of red that Swingline now makes one, which is readily available in stores what sell offices supplies.

I am deeply amused by the absurdly optimistic, non-ironic subject line of an email I just received from our IT folks:

    "Password Reset Improvements"

'Twas inevitable, given my lack of foresight in choosing a nickname.

Dutch Mantel was one of the most popular wrestlers of the 1970s.

Wrestling is a very foreign concept to me.

On another very predictable note: 25th sketch in this sketchbook, double portrait to celebrate, Cara & Kate.

I have a bit of an unfair advantage because when you draw Dutch Mantel you don't have to draw a mouth. It is covered up by his mustachio.

You managed to capture his sad complexion quite impressively well. Not joking.
