1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I also wouldn't mind being named something actually cool like "The Prick" or something.

I have gotten quite a few messages from people saying they think they saw me. 100% of the time they were right. I don't really understand it.

Well, "A Prick". "The Prick" would be an honor of sorts.

If you're not obese and they call you The Elephant , it could be a good things..

On the other side of the argument, you could have a great memory or massive ears...

This happened to me three years ago with Bhowie. He PMed me out of the blue saying he saw me on Newbury street in Boston.

I asked him how he knew it was me and he said because he saw "an asian driving a three series."

There are like a million of those here so I'm still confused as to how he knew it was me.

It was the aftermarket bean bag sports seats that tipped him off.

Stardust was asked whether he prefers pancakes or waffles and in his answer he kept kayfabe:

"Amongst the Earth food? Pan-cakes. There was a performer here. A very renowned singer. Elvis Presley, who had an affinity for peanut butter and bananas. People call that "The Elvis." They make sandwiches, but every now and then, they imbue pancakes with those properties. Banana pancakes, peanut butter chips. I like that."

This discussion has been held before. Pancakes are for poor people. Waffles are for gentlemen. Elvis grew up dirt poor, so it makes sense he'd like pancakes.

^whenever I'm at one of those hotels with the self serve waffle makers I take my sweet assed time and go extra long with the waffle making process in order to achieve my desired level of "very crispiness" on the outside. That extra couple minutes of persistence (despite the warning beeps) make all the difference.

I could live on a diet consisting solely of fresh croissants and coffee.

Too bad my time in Paris has spoiled me, Dutch bakers always make such soggy lumps of fat.

Also new girl, yes I'll bore you guys to death with my sketches.
