1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I think on Styleforum website you are supposed to write "scotchs."

I was voted fifth most beloved poster yesterday on "Styleforum Stastistics" with 23 votes. I don't think I'll be able to break into the upper echelon of beloved, though.

Finally bought myself a bike (spent more than I was hoping to but whatever)!

Now I won't have to drive myself absurdly short distances (relatively, speaking) and get 7 MPG.

    Success!

In my dream last night I invented a portmanteau word it was "larcenal." It is a stock of stolen firearms. I thought that was a pretty good invention for a man what was sleeping.

We're having a company provided lunch today and since I don't eat lunch I ordered a durian shake. I hope it's as disgusting as the internet tells me it is!

To get the full durian experience you have to get the whole fruit. Processed (or mashed up) durian doesn't really hit you with the full stinkiness
