1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

That's my schedule year round. Then again I work enough hours where they kind of owe it to me.

yeah the coverage zones for the various consulates is ridiculous, i think Florida is covered by the consulate general in NYC and also Washington DC. I think its a great excuse for consulate guys to travel.

They also have outreach programs in Trinidad & Tobago, the Bahamas, Cuba, and Haiti if you ever find yourself in those places :foo:

Cuba is actually one of the reasons I want a valid Mexi-asian passport. The wife and I were planning to go there in 2012 but didn't have the time. There are Canadian pilots who do daily flights (for tourists not from USA) out of Key West.

You should find a job in a building with a subway stop under its awning. It is really great.

My subway is very close to my office building. It is the walk from my home to the subway that makes it really bad, it's like an 8 minute walk. Believe it or not but even just a little drizzle over 8 minutes accumulates to soggy pants and shoes.

I hate umbrellas. Two things always happen on days like today: some tiny woman almost takes my eye out because she can't see past the edge of her stupid umbrella that is it eye level and somebody will be holding their umbrella in the middle while swinging it back and forth going up the stairs, again, almost poking my out.

    Fucking umbrellas.
