1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Students have said things like "I would do *anything* to get an A!" I just pretend that they meant they would study and do all the readings.

Today I am rocking a pink and gold Charvet tie and also a shirt with pink stripes and John Lobb Beckett of shoe, to where I feel like the proverbial cock of the walk.

Pretty sure he's doing it right. Like me if I slept with a client Lin'csy would face job loss and possible incarceration.

Rule #1. Ain't no ass worth going to jail for.

All she has to do is claim he coerced her into sex with threats of failing her. The feminists consider that rape and if you get the wrong prosecutor who wants to make a name for herself...

Starting my first full time job on Monday :) Extremely excited to finally have an excuse to get out of the house and working, too - especially after a grueling 10 months of unemployment prior to graduating college.

It's good that you recognize thinking students will study and do all the readings is just creative make believing.

Hank Jr was one of the first records I bought and the second concert I went too.

Not the first, but imagine Marshall Tucker, CDB, and Hank Jr in one show. Redneck heaven.

Whoa. I once went to a similar one. It was Travis Tritt, CDB, and Hank Jr.

How was Marshall Tucker? They're playing here this weekend, and I'm a little tempted to try to go.

Also, how was Hank Jr.? He was a huge letdown when I saw him. He spent way too much time talking about himself and way too little performing well. Travis Tritt really stole that show. CDB was good, too, but I'd seen him before, and you kind of know what you're going to get with him, anyway. The biggest downer about CDB was the way he changes all the bad words and stuff now that he's found Jesus ("Long Haired Country Boy" just isn't the same when he replaces stoned, drunk, and toke with up, down, and joke. The "son of a gun" in "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" is even more galling).

I am pretty sure my first real non-county fair concert was Tritt opening for Yearwood.

It's been prolly 20 years or more. God I am old. Marshall Tucker was not any big deal. It was cool to say I seen them... but I wouldn't go out of the way to see them.

I think the show I was referring to was before Charlie found religion. I will say, I know Charlie got religion, but for a guy his age he still give it his all. That is what I really love about his shows. I don't walk out thinking it was just going through the motions. He played our county fair once and I got to spend time with him. He was such a genuine guy. Would still see him today.

Hank... I saw him about 10 times... all before Clinton's second term. He wasn't political and for some of them he was wasted--- which he sung the hell out of shit. He hadn't turned overtly political, which I think is his issue now.

Also, the SO just got back from Bentonville.... AND I GOT A BOX OF MOONPIES!!!!! HELL YEAH!!!!
