1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

So the actual good news is that the other person involved with the wreck wasn't injured (can't be affording of no lawsuits). At least I have a nice car for a few weeks (rental).

I'm sick and tired of waking up sick and tired. As of today there's going to be some changes made.

My organization was just awarded national recognition for excellence. Caught me totally off guard, as usually you have to apply to these types of things, but this one is all done by awarding body. Sort of cool and stuff.

It don't matter which side of the pancake you call the "top side" and which you call the "bottom side." It's just a matter of which side happens to be up and which side happens to be down. This realization has liberated me from certain concerns that had weighed on my mind ("do I have the pancake the right way up?")

Even though I am not technically a "mod," I am making an executive decision that will help "class up" the forum. From now on, when anyone is of a mind to use the verb "to cop" to mean "to buy," the person should use the new SF-approved verb "to becop" instead. For example, "I becopped an ascot yesterday." (Lasbar is allowed to say "I did becop an ascot." I also reserve the right to do so myself.)

No way man don't even say that because now concerns will weigh on my mind again (the two sides look similarly brown, which is the browner, oh no I can't handle this!)

Now that's a nice looking post, brings a certain "je ne sais quoi" to the forum.
