1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I've never tried STL "pizza" but from the pics I don't know if it gets the "pizza" part, much less the "#1"

I judge a city based on the average overall quality of pizza. I don't care if there are a handful of really good pizza places. I want to walk into a random pizza place and be able to get a decent slice. You can't beat the NJ/NY area based on this standard.

Midwest pizza is awful. The goal seems to be to pack as much shitty processed cheese as possible on a flavorless piece of glorified bread.

This is a very poor way of judging a city, Sydney Australia has the best pizza in the world bar none including NY, it is also the place where you would stick the tube if you wanted to give the Earth an enema.

I should have proofread my post. I meant I judge a city's pizza based on average overall quality. Not the city overall. Oops.

It's not a bad way of judging a city's quality, or lack thereof, actually. Another good way is whether Fang is in it or not.

This is simply false, and I've actually been there and had their local pizza. Crapola.

Edit - Also, any enema that doesn't start in Detroit is in the wrong hole.

There are two ways to sound really dumb: bring up Hitler and try to say NY doesn't have the best pizza.

I know, but had to take any chance to call Sydney the arsehole of the world (universe actually).

Harv a drunken visit to Pizza Hut after stumbling out of a knocking shop in Kings Cross isn't the same as having local Sydney pizza. Your edit simply shows that you are delusional.

Fang, there might be some good places in Sydney. Almost every city of size has good pizza. But the NY pizza quality bell curve is well to the right of any other city.

Sydney must be an outlier then.

And Finn with Brazil out of nowhere!

The Northeast United States hate that was limited to southerners has now become international.
