1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The debate about Lolita in SWD is pretty great.

My little cousin just turned 8. She's all the way across the country in Seattle. Sweetest girl ever. She was born with a severe brain deficiency but has grown into a very proud, very happy young lady. She is more "developed" than we thought she would be which is such a delight.

My grandmother died of cancer in 2012, afraid that my cousin would never know her. But her recall is almost unbelievable. She remembers "Mim" vividly and says she can't wait to see her in heaven. My grandmother was so worried that her youngest would forget her. So glad she remembers her.

Are all Disney movie titles supposed to be adjectives now?

Pretty much all Disney movies are crap if you're over 12.

Then I was misled that both John Carter and The Lone Ranger were glorious cinematic events?

I was skeptical (even after 6 months of shopping there) but Stew Leonard's is fucking awesome. Its what whole foods should actually be. I always feel dumb for shopping at a stop n shop when Stew leonards is the same 10min drive away.

Just last saturday I bought sushi (very good), lobster rolls (fresh in three packs for $17 and very very good), and 2.5in thick porterhouse steaks (excellent). Its naturally crazy on weekends or after 5pm but still worth it.

I can understand Starbucks' perspective, tough. I mean, I'd be pretty upset if there were a dumb lawyerdad posting stuff on the internet. People could get confused.
