1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    I'm dating a college girl and decided to crash the first day of a creative writing class. I'll be heading out in a bit.
    Will keep you posted.

    i have had blackberrys, droids and iphones. they all have their strong suits, but overall i like the iphone best. i just wish i was a giant tech nerd and could create a phone that has the best of everything.

    the complete email rulership of blackberry. and brick-breaker.
    the ease of use and simplicity of the iphone.
    the back button and some of the cooler features of droid.

    In regards to your comment on the led notifications, I really believe the iPhone would be cooler if the home button had an led embedded in it.

    The moto x gets closer to this (or at least the second two). They really focused hard on making it user friendly instead of just "fastest, biggest, strongest android ever" like the galaxy series.

    Not sure about the email thing...I haven't used a blackberry since...2008? At the time, it was definitely better on that front than the first iphones (never used an android 1.x device), but I think that both the android gmail app (which is a lot better than iphone gmail) and the android exchange email app are both better than what blackberry was peddling. The old exchange mail on 2.x wasn't very good, but the 4.x OS version is great (except for manufacturers that swap in their own "enhancements").

    I'm excited to check them out. I like their patterns from what I've seen online.

    Hopefully they have my size in stock as I don't want to go MTM..

    @otc

    BlackBerry email was definitely the fastest and most compatible with all email servers. Not even close.

    I don't have enough light handy to get a good shot, but these are them six months ago after I bought them and restored them. I've since added about 100 wears into them as my casual walk-around-town boot and they're looking a lot more crispy after a really light-handed buff job the other day.

    I have to give iPhone its due and say the current Exchange interface I have beats BB hands down. This was not always the case but now I get my Exchange mail boxes structure and it's nice.

    Interesting. I have not had a BlackBerry in a long time, but my recollection is that it was both faster than my iPhone is now and that it got less errors.
