1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Because your pool is larger than Style Forum, you are the most beloved person.

Yesterday I was the eighth most beloved poster (tied with Bhowie and NAMOR and ridethecliche), but day before that I was third most beloved! (This is all according to "Styleforum Stats," which ranks the beloved of ten posters.)

Keep it up, Stitchy! I'm sure I've said this before, but I used to smoke 2.5 packs per day. Now that I've quit, I see that there's not one thing better about being a smoker than being a non-smoker. Even though it's been ten years since I've quit, I'm still really happy about it.

I might come close. It's one of those shitty vaguely rectangular states in the middle of the country that you have to drive though to get to your actual destination.

Good job, Stitch. It's not easy, but it's worth it. Keep it up.

In another thread I just invented a new word "professioncy" (pretending not to know that it's proficiency). Now I'm going to use the word a lot, to where people are going to say "oh shit L'Incandescent has made a post I hope he didn't say professioncy I am so sick of that bullshit." That will be funny in a sort of way but also not funny in another way (a mix like the Tao).

So, we had the full-anatomy ultrasound for the upcoming rugrat this week, and it looks like the next LowerCaseG is gonna be a LowerCaseGirl!

Our first concern, of course, was confirming that it's healthy (she is), but if we could have picked, we would have chosen girl, so it's pretty awesome news.
