Dropped off a pair of AEs at the cobbler for new heels and some toe/heel taps.
Should have dropped them in the garbage and gotten a pair of Alden's.
E is beautiful, in its own way. (I enjoy wearing the Moras, and that is a fact.)
Aldens are delicious, yes. But I can routinely find AEs for under $250 and that seems harder to do for Aldens.
Well...it got her to the vet but she didn't seem happy about it. You would think that she would have enjoyed the chance to be outside and see/smell new and different things (since in the city, I just don't feel comfortable having an outdoor cat).
Ok, not 5 then....I based that on the comment of being in school in the 80s...I believe I started kindergarten in 1992 (unless my math is wrong...)
Sounds good.... Enjoy!!!
I remember it as 89, but I could be wrong.
gonna get creative with wine corks?
awesome. i freaking love shmaltz. best on warm crispy matza, sprinkled with salt and topped with chopped liver, pickles, coleslaw and hot pastrami.
that sounds vile together.
but the taste is heavenly. come by for passover and ill give you a mouthful. OH YES I DID!
I had a nice breakthrough in some work I'm doing.
Boss lady came back from vacation. Gave her my notice. She's actually really happy for me, we worked out a nice schedule for my departure, and on top of that, she gave me some really helpful advice from her former sales days. I was both surprised and very glad that it went so well.
Nice to know you're parting on good terms. So how long did you last there? Two years or more I think?
No, I was at the country club for 20 months. Started here in October. However, before she hired me, we "interviewed" over a few cocktails (my kinda interview!) And I told her that I wanted to get out of cooking and into the wine game full time and that although while I worked for her I'd give her 110%, if an opportunity arose I'd bounce without thinking twice. So she knew that my time here was limited from the beginning .
