This is a good thing.
Get back to me when you have to pay 50-75% income tax and a 180% car tax.
Ms. Claghorn has a good opinion of you stitchy, so I'll make sure not to let her see that suggestion...
Nice going acid!
Cleared a big mental hurdle this morning in the CPA prep: Cash Flow statements on limited information. Not that it's hard, but I had to get out of the mindset of being spoon-fed all the information.
Oh yeah, and Eason kindly reminded me that I should put some dried cherries in my cheerios.
Oh yeah, and I made up a new aftershave, this one works well for summer.
and there are still pies at the office. I am sure of this.
How does this work? You don't actually pay your car's value plus 80%, do you?
GOtta get down on Friday.

Great news Acid
Thanks, gents... I'm giddy like a girl on prom night... Once we get more meat in what we're cooking I'm gonna share it here.
Nice work, Acid.
Making me happy: day off. Have some personal business type errands to do one of them being getting our will, POA, etc. updated. When this appt. is done it will leave me at the right time, in the right area, for an awesome happy hour place we don't usually hit.
No, when the car is first registered (new or imported), you pay 180% tax, on top of what the car costs.
Making me happy: accepted new job. Right in the alley of what I want to do. More free time, more cash. Just great.
Anybody that is friends with me on facebook, please don't mention it. Current boss is on vacation so I haven't been able to put in my notice yet.
So if the car costs 10,000 of whatever currency you're using, you have 18,000 in taxes due when you register it?
awesome!!! excellent news.
oh shit! can i delete posts on other peoples wall?
