1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Great day so far. Scored ammo at teh Wal-Marts, hit the shooting range, went and bought five handles of my favorite drinking whisky (and a few other goodies), had a great salad for lunch, cubed up and seasoned pork butt and back fat to makes salami out of tomorrow, and now am sipping a whisky drink with a purring cat on my lap.

Best place to get ammo. I've gone to Wal-Mart more in the last six weeks than in the previous decade. I plan to hit up a few more in the next couple weeks. You have to get there at 7am or so as it'll be all gone. Hell, the store clerk wasn't even stocking the .22LR he just had the recently arrived stock sitting by the cash register.

Oh, forgot to mention it was my first try using my new sighting scope. Worked great and that made me happy.

Yeah, my friend in Austin told me when I last visited him that people line up at walmart everyday to buy ammo because it sells out so quickly.

My first ever bottle of that I was really disappointed with it. Now it's a "go to" inexpensive Pinot for me, but yes, this was a noob thing to do.

Blast. I will drink it with reserved disdain. The wine curator guy told me "we have that and the real stuff." The real stuff was too much for a dinner with old high school friends though.

The lady in my building who is a survivor put it on. She's is a spectacular person. Nobody really cares but I'll do a thread on her one day. She volunteers at the Houston Holocaust Museum and is going to show me some interesting stuff.
