1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Canada definitely wins that round, unless CJ Ross is at the judge's table.

America has Americans. Canada has Canadians. You be the judge.

Canada gave the world bieber, robin thick, Pamela Anderson and Emily rashenkowski or how you spell it, so we got something to hate and something to enjoy.

America has Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. Flawless victory.

Managed to get a good friend/ex-coworker an interview in my office. Such is my clout.

Anyone who enjoys listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd has "lost they marbles" so to speak (lost capacity to perceive things in the world correctly).

"Tuesday's Gone" is a sentimental favorite of mine. It reminds me of high school trips to the Ozarks.

Lulz. Only an American would say that (and us more worldly people would chuckle).

Btw, Canada gave the world the Euro. Not sure what to make of that.

Canada gave us Piobaire, just like how the UK gave us Piers Morgan.

So, I'm partially posting in this thread just because I enjoy reading it and don't usually have anything that would make me "happy" enough to warrant posting, and partially because I know a few lawyers post in and read the thread, so I thought I would solicit their collective well wishes.

I think (hopefully) I'm about to win my first real case. Well, it's not really mine, but still, I'm doing all the work. Just the prospect of winning is making me feel happier than I have in quite some time. That, and the thought of opposing counsel losing. Like, me watching the look on their faces when they lose, expecting to win...I see now how this could become addictive.

I went to Bethesda fountain in Central Park this morning at 5:30 and watched the sun rise over the lake.
