thanks everyone... night after her cremation- downed 4 beers with a buddy at our usual place, because life does go on.

That sounds like a proper tribute!

Today, I finished up a bunch of small projects that had been dragging on - at work and at home: car stuff, home stuff, etc. etc. Took a lot of evenings and weekends but I feel like I can relax this weekend.

There are few things better than the smell of cooking onions. I'm having french onion soup followed with a steak and potatoes dauphinoise tonight. I'm eating raspberries right now. The only thing that sucks is that i forgot to buy some wine.

So petty, but Kwilk and I are using Connie's facebook wall to chat, just to piss him off. I don't know why, but it's funny.

I almost made this its own thread. I might yet.

I just received something in the mail. It's clothing, but I'm not going to tell you what it is. Suffice it to say that it is incredible. Spectacular. Better than I could have hoped. It's exactly what I didn't know I needed. And StyleForvm will hate it. Hate it, hate it, hate it. In many ways, it is the antithesis of SF. When I get around to posting it, jaws will drop, noses will spray soda, parents will shield their children's eyes. People will pity me for wearing such a thing. I may start wearing it every day.

    Manton will not be amused.

The mystery item is vintage, but it's so vintage I could not tell you how old it is. It's agonizingly vintage. I've never seen anything quite like it. This was a gamble, and it paid off big time. Big time.

Hee. I could wet myself in my excitement.

    That's all ... for now.
