1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I still think you should put a cannon on it, though

I have long wanted to mount a potato cannon on the old boat. Unfortunately the only place we could mount it is off the back and that boat is so slow that we would never get to shoot at anyone.

    I love my tailor :inlove:.

He makes me look bawss in everything I bring to him for alterations, so I tip him handsomely accordingly (are you even supposed to tip tailors?).

If the tailor owns the establishment you are not required to tip him/her. However, there's nothing wrong with tipping for a job well done.

Just took a short nap, as I was drifting off to sleep a spirit arrived and massaged my temples, causing me to have good dreams where I learned important matters. But I don't remember what they were now.

You thought of a great (foolproof) pickup line:

Take me to the cellar, let me be your fella, I'll teach you something new.

And then you said I wan to rock all night, and roll all day, which caused you to roll over and wake (cut short visit to the land of nod)

    Met a neighbor earlier

N: When did you get a beard.
    F: 10 years ago.
N: You haven't had this long facial before, right.
F: I have, this is actually short.

Haven't trimmed my beard for 2 weeks (no relation to Movember), didn't shave for 3 months earlier in the year.

I had an observation just now that made me happy (to have such insight).

I've met some ladies, but they don't tell you, they just want a whirl. It's kind of funny, but also a little sad because they're not happy, they're just kind of glad to be with me for just a night

I know how it should be. There is nothing more for you and I. Little GreenFrog, can't you see? You're so young and so much different than I

KISS' (the best band in the world as evidenced by their slogan: "You wanted the best; you got the best! The hottest band in the world.... KISS!" [why would they lie about that?]) 1995 appearance on MTV's "Unplugged" is phenomenal. Is there a way to capture high-definition audio from YouTube (so that I may listen to this at leisure)?

Ed, if you want to listen to something that exemplifies the Kiss sound, you ought to check out their disco stuff. It really captures their ethos.

I locked myself out of my apartment and was uber pissed because my girlfriend was going to be gone for a long time. I thought about posting this in the pissed off thread, but I ended up going to a bar and having some martinis so I guess it made me pretty happy.
