1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I appreciate the messages of concern from my sf brothers who pm'd me or posted on fb (regarding the storm)... thanks!

and my finger has stopped bleeding, though it still looks pretty gross right now and I can't feel anything at the tip (of my finger)

I was going to make a small asian penis joke but it doesn't seem to be working out very well.

Well, the rash on that tip was caused by something else entirely!

Downton Abbey has premiered it's fourth season in the UK but we do not get it until Jan 5th. The good news is a fifth season has been confirmed! :)

I feel like this is a Conne post somehow.

    :(

I have no idea what you are talking about; the entire 4th season (not just the premiere) is already up on tvtorrents...
You shouldn't even feel bad about pirating it since it is not like you are robbing PBS of their commercials.

On my list of shows to watch...maybe start it when I finish breaking bad.

Yeah... Not gonna lie, I've already been watching Season 04.

I'm actually surprised it's being renewed. Has been going steadily downhill IMO.

Being hipster has become so mainstream that every self-respecting hipster must reject it
