1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    I think my name would be good for the resourceful cat that comes up with a plan/repairs a vehicle/acquires some key supply/etc. but falls victim to the zombie disease midway through the book and is unable escape with his comrades. This would help teach the children a lesson on the harsh realities of life (like how the Redwall books always killed off some important character to make it clear that the heroes can't always be safe).

    I liked him when he was still playing kevin arnold.

    ++++

    I'm happy these days because a convenience store is opening just outside where I live.

    its called "FamilyMart", a japanese chain that along with the usual convenience store crap also has cheap salads, japanese candies and chocolates, tonkatsu meals, and green tea soft serve ice cream... and the way these azns design their convenience stores makes it a nice place to walk to after getting piss drunk and grab some salty food. there is a 7-11 near us, but its crap like all 7-11's except the ones in taipei and hong kong.

    The absolute joy of letting one go in an elevator. My gift to you, office building mates.

    ahhh, letting it rip in an empty elevator as you go to the ground floor only to be met with a mob of idiots who have no idea what awaits them.

    I did it rong the other day...let it rip as soon as I got in the empty elevator. Of course, the elevator ended up making 2 stops before reaching the ground floor, so I was standing there trying to keep a poker face while the other people were trying to keep their eyes from falling out of their sockets

    I know I've told this story before but IRDGAF. I let one rip a few years ago and some really hot dame was getting on. She smiled coyly at me, stepped in and I shit you not... I saw her pause, step back, do a double take, and then reluctantly walk in.

    A tip for the next retelling, Ed: That story would be a lot more believable if it didn't involve an attractive woman smiling at you.

    Also, be honest, the last part usually happens to you regardless of whether there's a fresh fart in the air, doesn't it?

    So you're saying that you even repulse unattractive women?

    I would say what the two of us do is so depraved that it should be repulsive, but no, she is not that repulsive.

    Farts are an interesting thing. I think people (mainly women) secretly enjoy smelling them so that they can be outraged by them

    I certainly don't doubt that anything that includes you and a woman would be considered repulsive.

    How long it takes? It depends, I don't really clock the time, but I mostly draw at night whilst listening to a podcast that last an hour to 1 hour and thirty minutes. Most of them take shorter then that, some longer. Some are finished within an episode of QI XL and others during a lecture or two.
