1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Ha. Just remember you can't fix a faulty map with a lighter. :teach:

In my experience, the difference in reception is substantial.

Clever. Mine is a little old; maybe I should try this approach.

Was she hot or fat? If she was either of those it is a complement.

If she is homely, she may just be looking for male attention.

Talking about maps and whipping it out reminded me:

The first or second case I ever tried, I prosecuted a guy for indecent exposure. His method was to sit in his car by the side of the road holding a map over his lap. He would then get the attention of a girl walking by, saying he was lost. He would ask her to show him on the map how to get where he wanted to do. :)rimshot:) Then he'd move the map . . .

If by "worked" you mean the gal agreed to marry him and start a family: no.
But I think his goals were more short-term than that: achieving whatever f'ed-up psychological payoff he got from confronting her with his his anthony and scaring the poor girl. In that sense, it worked.

Attempting to cover his tracks by shaving his moustache and trading in his leased car for another one before his lease was up: not so much.

How else are you supposed to confirm that the new diamond on his prince albert does not interfere with oral activities? Is he just going to take your word for it?

That's how you met my mom? She never told me that story.

But seriously, I don't think it's really an attempt to get laid. (No longer talking about Mom.) I mean, I'm sure there's some fantasy about that buried in there. But I think it's much more pathetic -- and compulsive -- than that.

The naked man is used on a girl who has already been on a date with you and ends up back at your/her place...

This is like a dude in a trenchcoat on the subway who gets off on the disgust of the women he opens it up in front of.
