If I had Alzheimer's, I wouldn't know that I'm about to go for the fourth time in eight days, you silly goose.

Local tailor going out of business. Made offer. Will be scoring enough tweed for two hacking jackets and two great coats for 200 bucks. Highish end shit, all made in Britain. Total of ten yards, double width.

My sister comes into town in a few hours; I haven't seen her in six months, but I'm not sure if I am able to put up with her for the duration she'll be here - she is really messy.

Genevieve put in for a name change, but I used my superior acumen to thwart her.

Genevieve: From now on I'd like to be know as Wondra.
Me: Who would like to be known as Wondra?
    Genevieve: Me
    Me: Who's "me?"
    Genevieve: Me, Genevieve.
    Me: (silence)
Genevieve: Aww, you got me but good this time! Got me but good!

    I found my letter opener.

Its nothing fancy, just a solid stainless steel, made in japan, opener that seems to work better than the other non-fancy ones. I thought it had been accidentally thrown away or someone had wandered out of office with it...I was digging through a stack of openers in the supply cabinet and all of the ones I found were either a crappier feeling, /non-stainless model, or were the same model but much newer and made in china to a lower standard (rough edges, bent, etc).
Was ready to post in the pissing you off thread...even found an auction on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/LETTER-OPEN...KED-IDL-No-150-50s-JAPAN-V-NICE-/220936061739 ($18? dang...thing probably retailed for $2 in the 80s)
