Weather is perfect today in these parts. Gonna get really hot, but no rain in sight throughout the holiday weekend. :satisfied:

    Kudos to you!

Shoot, we just took in whatever dogs happened our way. A Corgi mix, a long-haired chihuahua, and most recently this really really skinny dog with mad hops and is a wicked escape artist. Skinny dog, though, is wonderful with the baby.

    Lawrence, that dog is magnificent.

    ^thanks :)

^That thing is so fucking cute it makes me want to kick it. I love cats but thats cuteness overdose. Am I weird for feeling that?

I'm happy that we found a single car garage out of happenstance. I was parking right in front of it to unload the puppy/stuff to schlep into the house (half a block down the street) when a guy just walked up and asked if I was looking for one.

The price was laughably low, because he was just subletting it on a month to month cash basis - but has been subletting it out for years. I don't mind the no contract - because in reality the wife and i could be moving to another city/state soon anyway.

street parking wasn't too difficult here, but now we can come home from roadtrips in the middle of the night and don't have to worry about it. plus it lowers my chances of ever getting a ticket and keeping my 17year streak of never getting a moving violation and never having to pay a parking ticket ever.

5 year city itch.... we were looking at Chicago in 2010 and found some amazing deals (compared to NYC) in the city...

other places we're considering, Burlington VT, Portland ME, and maybe a move back to Boston or Rhode Island... The wife has been researching intensely which means she's planning on it...and probably will happen. I'm merely along for the ride. She's always been spot on in her vacation choices as well as condo/apartment taste as well.

Stitch, I now hate you. Why did I click that? I thought that was Sacha Baren Cohen in Yellow-face for the first 30 seconds and wished I had a screwdriver for my good eardrum for the rest.

    You owe me borellis.
