    other than waiting on grades, first year of grad school is done. it was definitely a successful year, but much, much more work than i expected. hopefully will be able to turn a paper i just finished into something publishable.

    hey i won 2 scholarships, won an award at a conference, and hopefully will have a 4.0 - I'm happy!

    Despite having the wrong cap and gown, went pretty well. Shook my diploma, picked up the dean, only tripped once.
