haha yeah, my 'instrument'.
Thanks for the congrats guys! I think I have a very good chance of getting it due to my background and current job. Probably will increase my income by 50% or more too. Come next year or so, I might be living a rather comfortable life down here in Chile... and doing what I love.
Congrats musicguy! My ideal life would be making a living off of music. Sadly I suck at most instruments.
this sounds cool. congratulations!
I'm also jealous coz I am pretty sure I will never be paid for playing with my instrument.
So I had a good night last night for my birthday. Ate too much and drank far more than I thought I would but oh well, it was all tasty. A great twss opened up the night and the friend who set me up with my ex was there first time I'd seen her in a while. Anyway she was like "[my ex] says she regrets having met you" and I lol-ed. I was like "she's pissed because I stopped ever talking to her" and apparently I was right. Also, she apparently isn't happy at all with the dude she's living with. Basically after having to deal with her shit for however long I was like fuck yeah I won.
I Amazon for this very reason. They're one of the few companies left that really understands customer service.
Yes, but you're quite good at sucking instruments, and there's money to be made there.
My brother will be here tomorrow afternoon. He lives 10 hours away, so I don't get to see him much. This will be the first time since my son was born that I'll be visiting with just him, given most of the time I see him it's over a holiday or for a family thing. I'm really excited to see him, and I'm even more excited for him to get to see my son. My brother is an extremely proud uncle, despite the fact that he doesn't see my son much, so it will be awesome for them to spend some time together.
I'm having some trouble diagnosing a problem with the steering/suspension on my Jeep. There's something going on, but I can't place it. Might be something as simple as needing an alignment, but it could also be something more. It's further complicated by the fact that my entire suspension system is an aftermarket upgrade, and most places don't know how to deal with that and bigger-than-stock tires. I finally broke down and took it to a shop in town that has always treated me well. While I was chatting with the guy at the shop, he said, "my family has seven Jeeps, and five of those are lifted so I'm familiar with them." He also made a comment that the alignment is trickier with lifted vehicles. Dealing with someone who doesn't just throw it up and try to align it like a stock vehicle made me feel 100x better, and I'm hopeful it will finally get worked out.
that sounds awesome, i hope you have a great time with your bro.
So this is happening.
