Sounds really exciting. Packing probably isn't fun, but I guess it's a necessary part of the process. I hope the move goes well.

It is, J. Also, a good way to get Mrs. Piob to toss a bunch of stuff, like 10 year old Xmas cars, etc.

Thanks guys. It was a No Move order, which - as I understand it - puts a roadblock to any shenanigans the agency might try to pull.

You know, for a government agency whose mandate is to put children in homes and get them adopted, they sure tend to drag their feet about actually getting these things done. The more time I spend in family court, the more Small-Government (Repub) I tend to get.

Also, if you want to see really really tall high heels, comically tall shoes, hang around family court on CPS days. I wish I had the gall to take pictures of some of these people.

Getting set to head out for errands then a four or five hour lunch with friends at our favorite place. Come home, take a nap, pop another bottle of wine. Life is good.

Speaking of long, boozy lunches, where the hell is Harvey lately?

Funny, I don't think I've ever run into anyone I know or am connected to through craigslist (though it sounds like you probably talk with them a bit more than I do...I mostly just exchange goods for currency).

I did unload an extra piece of furniture the other day on CL and it feels great. I had been about to get rid of it months ago but then decided to hang on to it so I would have seating for 4 or so more guests at a new years party...and the extra couch had been sitting on that wall ever since. So much roomier now!

Not sure about Harvey. I'm hoping he's just buried at work. We exchanged messages a week ago or so he said things were not good, but hopefully it's all relative.

This past weekend (well not quite the weekend, more like an extension of the weekend) the wife and I headed up to the Finger Lakes region of New York state. This, of course, was the famed trip that my wife had purchased off of Groupon and not done a very good job of reading the fine print, hence our trip to upstate New York in early spring. Well in spite of the bad weather the wife and I had a wonderful time. The B&B was very nice and the people who ran it were top notch. Breakfast was 7 out of 10, but the portions were ample. If you're not familiar with the area there are about 300 or so wineries along with the occasional brewery. The wife and I sampled much and bought plenty to bring home.

Had a nice float/canoe ride down a river this morning for a few hours. Grilling out and having a bunch of people over tonight. Should be a great time
