I was nervous about wearing this French Blue new suit to work, but nobody has complimented it yet so I think I'm in the clear.

French blue is difficult colour to wear but if you can pull it off , you're in the happy few Dandy league..

Picked up a ticket to see a band I love (no Buffett) in what is supposed to be an awesome local venue. I've never seen the band, and I've never been to a show at the venue, so I'm excited about both. I'm a little bummed it's on a weeknight, but it should be a great show nonetheless.

I hate that too. My friends always give me shit over it, but I can't function at work without my sleep.

Exactly. Plus, I want to have a couple of beers without worrying if I'll feel like crap for work in the morning. I don't have any desire to prove I'm tough enough to work on no sleep and a hangover. On the bright side, my boss has always been cool about letting me take a bit of time for stuff like this. I don't think it will be an issue if I come in a couple hours late so I can sleep in a bit, although it still sucks to use leave time for a show that's literally right down the street from work.

I have friends that go out like every night. I don't know how they do it. Machines I guess.

I've never really been that type. For a long time, I didn't have an 8-5, so I was a night owl, but I could generally sleep in. MrsG, on the other hand, has had an 8-5 job since we got married, and there were times she'd close down the bar with us only to be up and at 'em for work the next morning. This often happened multiple times a week, and I have no idea how she managed.

i found a new bathroom at work perfect for le deuce.

its on the lower lobby level of the building, tucked away around the corner behind a set of doors, single person bathroom, very large and clean because it seems no one uses it. win-focking-rar.

Just bought my first pair of Allen Edmond's (Merlot McAllisters). I love the smell of leather in the morning. Smells like... victory.
