While I am not particularly familiar with JLC's marketing either, my understanding is that he did also come up with the catchphrase. In fact, the contest jury notes:

I have nothing against the quality of the watch, but that style is horrible, imo. If I had $10k in hand I could buy much better things with it than a watch as well. Watches don't really start getting interesting until the $40,000 mark anyway. :)

Convinced a Jewish customer that whiskey is no no on pesach and leaving it in the shop doesn't count as getting rid of it unless I drink it all before sundown Friday. Yay free scotch!

there were many a hasidic Jhoo in line waiting for a car wash today... all were in mini vans with at least 5 young children inside.... all were mid 30's men with extremely young wive's (barely over 20)... some were very very liberal with the use of the car horn - even though it was a line for the car wash....

the wife has to drive her three aunts and uncles to washington DC tomorrow for a "vacation" she'll be holing up with them for the washington DC sights ect.... I'll be here for work.... haha for my wife... sukah! I loove being home alone...

I love seeing hasidic jews that live in exotic places - I've been to places... like Barcelona, Paris, Prague, Mexico City... and when I see them its a comforting sight.. the only part that is jarring is when they don't speak in a brooklyn accent... "what the fuck? why is that hasidic jew speaking Spanish?!.... oh yeah... i'm in spain... "
