He's within the same time zone. Also, the flight was probably no more than couple of hours.
What you get?
Is it meant to look appealing??
Ran a half-marathon yesterday in warm and humid conditions, was unhappy at the finishing time but pleased to discover that I finished 7th in my age group (out of 62), and was only one minute behind 4th place (again, in my age group). Not as bad as I'd feared.
I ran 1.8 km and almost died
next time run slower.
(science moment - iirc the longest feasible sprint distance is 300m. For any distance after that, you have to pace yourself)
i was up at 4 to catch my plane guys. and yes it was only a 2 hour flight. couldnt find any kosher grits tho.
i believe you were invited to a dinner that you missed. also, i didnt want to disrupt your chores or anything. glad you got all that done.
well, the trip is over and i had a great time. here is me and an e/irl-bro at augusta mall. just look at those pasty legs.
and i was able to fing my great grandfathers grave site. took about an hour, but it was well worth it. in here
i found this
No science... but at the speeds that top runners can do a 400m "sprint" I feel like your body would still be in sprint mode right? a minute or slightly less of sustained effort still sounds like the range where you're still in all-out sprint.
i got felt up by a fat TSA dude and there was not a thing in my pockets, and yet my lighter passed through in my carry on without incident. i love our airport security.
In charlotte now catching a connecting flight. I love that these southern airports have designated smoking areas that dont require going in and out of security.
It's part of Southern hospitality.
Nope. I didn't receive any dinner invitation.
I knew there was a member coming to Atlanta, but I just thought he happened to be passing through. I didn't realize y'all were doing a thing in Augusta. The last thing I heard all the Atlanta plans had basically collapsed and that was that.
I'm that I didn't realize something cool was happening, but I'm glad you guys had a good time!
They don't have those elsewhere?
the south. doin it roight.
now it all makes sense, i didnt think you would flake out like that. bad communication. next time im in the area i will more than make it up to you.
only other one i know is DIA in denver, its actually a bar in the airport, its awesome.
Well, they call the 400 the 'long sprint' but - as I read and see it - it's not uncommon to run the 400 as a 200 sprint, a fast float down the back-stretch, and a final 100m kick to the finish. Sprinting, as I'm using the term, is 100% anaerobic effort.
