    Haaaaaay.

Did you fly or drive from ATL to Augusta?

Wait, this was an SF meatup?

Yeah, it's nice out right now, but it's supposed to be hotter than Hell later or. They're saying 90* here.

Huh. I didn't even realize you could fly from Atlanta to Augusta.

How on Earth did an SF meatup in Augusta, GA happen?

"Guys, we're such great e-bros, we should all get together."
"Word. It's beautiful in the South this time of year; let's meet down there somewhere. I hear Georgia is particularly nice."
"Sounds good to me, let's make it happen. Of all the cities in Georgia with an airport, which one is the shittiest?"

Yeah, I'm really, really hoping the mild winter and warm spring aren't signs of things to come. I fear that this summer could be like living on the surface of the Sun.

yup, short flight, like 30 minutes in one of those mini planes.

something kind of like that. alcohol had something to do with the decision process.

i shudder at the thought, im hoping for more mild.

Why you up so early? You're on vacay for crying out loud. And, yogurt for breakfast when you're in the South, you gotta be kidding me. You should be eating grits, fried green tomatoes, pancakes, and other good stuff, not yogurt. Yuck!!!!

Despite not being invited to the meatup a couple hours from my house, I had a fantastic weekend. We got a ton of stuff taken care of around the outside of the house, which needed to be done because it looked atrocious. I don't want to be the ugliest house on the block, and we're having out-of-town guests soon, so I'm glad we dealt with it instead of procrastinating. Plus, we planted our vegetable garden and got the chance to go out with some friends Saturday night. We spent yesterday visiting with family and eating tasty BBQ.

Actually, I've had a run of great weekends, and things are going really well for me overall. The missus and I are working hard to embrace the good things in our life, and that's really paying off for our family.

When we arrived from our vacation I had a new bike (birthday present) waiting for me that I ordered before the trip... It needed to be assembled and I planned to put on a new groupset (components) on it. Seemed like the perfect thing to do to decompress. but I was afraid the wife would want to do something sunday...

but the wife was really cool right after the trip. She goes through after vacation withdrawal symptoms: irritable, bossy, clingy, ect ect... this time she left me alone while I built the bike up by myself.

Hey Mordy, good job blocking out the names on the email. We can still read them.
