very productive first day of break. Listing half my old clothes on ebay. Anything that doesn't sell first round is going to a thrift store at least 30 min away so I don't go and buy it back. took the pics of at least 60 items.

Somebody yesterday asked me what my dream job was. It was a question with an easy answer: No job.

Dunno about him, but I get a deep and profound sense of guilt concerning any time I'm not being productive in some fashion.

Very productive week. Just solved a tricky technical problem for a new project at work that I hadn't been able to figure out before leaving on vacation. Also resolved a couple other nagging issues that I tried to resolve but ultimately couldn't before my trip.

there are many ways to be productive without working. truth. if money was not an issue there is no way in hell i would ever work again.

True stitch, but if I'm not learning something, making something, earning money, or improving myself in a tangible way it drives me to distraction.

    +1

I enjoy my job and working, but if I came in to a lot of money, there isn't a chance in hell that is what i'd spend my time doing. So many other things you can do when money isn't limited.

everything I find productive is surrounded by the principle of making money...for now at least. Given a hypothetical situation where money was entirely not an issue (i.e I had tons of it and could literally do whatever I wanted) I'd purchase several properties (possibly franchises or other businesses), or something along those lines and manage them. Not in that position now. Right now it's more so that my daily expenses aren't an issue and that I do not have to worry about eating, entertainment, bills, clothes, school etc.

These are such rich boy issues. I've worked my whole life just to be able to afford a certain amount of non-structured time.

He's 20, has a BMW, and a condo. Which part of that gave away that he's a rich boy?

you're a hater. and non-structured time isn't as fulfilling when you don't really do anything for it..then it's just moping around doing fuck all.

After months of not finding a single person interested in sub-leasing from me, I get a phone call from one person who wants to see the house. Met up with him and he was really chill. Also came with his parents (I think he's in college) and his mom said that he would have their financial backing as well.

Looks like I'm getting my lease signed for the full duration of my remaining lease at full price!!!

While I'm sure there are many people who would willingly take his problems, it's refreshing to see people who are motivated.
