    Nice!

Neck still hurts, but happy that I managed to not do any real heavy work and still got what I needed to done. Customer should be happy with this one.

Got my first leather jacket (bought it off another member who never used it) and I'm loving it.

Its a true moto jacket with elbow, shoulder, and back armor and I feel so powerful when I put it on. It fits great with the armor (makes my shoulders look huge) and even fits pretty well without it so I could keep it around if I ever sell the bike.

I think I might try to find a leather tailor in chicago who can shorten the collar (since like every jacket or shirt I put on my square shoulders, it ripples behind the neck) and possibly take the sides in a pinch since the side adjusters are on their tightest setting. Otherwise it is great

Makes me wonder what something like a perfectly fitting ToJ without armor would feel like......

a regular one I make would be really lightweight in comparison. Some of them can still feel pretty tough, like you put one on and you want to get into a fight. I've made one in 4oz horsehide with motorcycle armor as well, used a special slimline padding as well as my proprietary MTM system, turned out really well.

The guy (my friend of like 10 years) wanted a jacket that looked more suitable to his Royal Enfield, as most moto jackets out there are more for sportsbikes; vintage style jackets with modern safety provisions just don't exist, most that look old are made that way too. I took it upon myself to combine the outer of a classic jacket and then added some little invisible ideas to make it work better - we stole some laminate seam tape from Dainese, we made the whole lining and pocketbags in mesh, so that when he unzips all 4 front pockets, he gets frontal ventilation; and then of course we added velcro pockets in the lining for the pads (D3O dilitant foam crash armor). It's not skin tight, but it's definitely slimline and you can hardly tell there's padding inside of it, which was the idea.
