When they put it online I will post a link but that will be months, sadly. The upside of writing for quarlerlies is that they give you a lot of space (this one is 10,000 words) the downside is the millenial lead time.

Start with something small, like a 5k or 10k.

Don't want to injure or overextend yourself.

A local writer did a little piece on her blog about our new house, as it is a historic home. She's gearing up to do an article on it for a local magazine, too, though I have begged her to let us properly furnish it first. Pretty neat. More ego-stroking for Douglas.

Interested FB buddies can see the link on my Timeline.

Just to check, that's a typo and you mean quarterlies, right? This isn't some weird type of publication that I've never heard of before is it?

Tax return...oh yeah, refund should be sweet this year. Straight into the new house fund though. I am projecting I might actually have enough stashed in the new house fund to start looking Jan of '13.

I will be very proud of us if we get this done on the terms I set myself. No raiding of emergency fund, no slowing down funding retirement, big buffer to safe guard against costs incurred to get rid of current house. It's been painful knowing I could grab something but at the cost of financial safety. Another year and the wait should be about over.
