Eh....nothing wrong with getting electronics wet...they wash the assembled PCBs with water during manufacturing after they have soldered everything into place. Don't use harsh detergents...and there is a preference to distilled water (but you can't run distilled water in your dishwasher)

The problem comes when you mix electricity and water...so don't plug it back in until it is 100% dry.

You don't even have to remove the keys...it will get pretty clean with the keys on (and keeping the keys on will keep it from washing away the lubrication on the slides). If you take the keys off, or unscrew it and separate the halves, it will dry faster though.

Sitting at the cafe writing. They have this chalkboard out front where they write non-sequitors. Today it said, "Girls are dope." Well, I found the chalk and made a sneaky change...

Oh yeah. Its passable, sure, but its basically a tourist spot just like the other outdoor restaurants on the strip.

That's why mentioned it was good and not great, and the fact that atmosphere was a major attraction. Most areas in SoFLA are indoors and insulated, at least this has a bit of life in it.

Thanks for the rec imageWIS. I've been to Miami four or five times now, but never had any fine dining memories... Food wasn't bad, but I can't remember any single meal.

That's what I mean though - Tiramisu has outdoor seating just like every single restaurant on Lincoln. I'm not sure what the atmosphere difference is.

Yeah, we really don't do "memorable" down here. Its more solid and every type of variety.

Well, I was speaking of SoFLA in general. But Tiramisu is one of the better restaurants on Lincoln Rd, both in food and service. And lets be honest, its cheaper, and better than every restaurant on Collins in South Beach (eww).

You mean Ocean, right? Collins has some nice spots now, especially south of 5th. Its still mostly shops though.

We're going to have to agree to disagree. Tiramisu is just nothing special IMO. Plenty of other good restaurants on Lincoln.

Yes, sorry, I meant Ocean. I always forget it splits into a unidirectional road down there.

    Yup.

I am 95% sure I won both the first quarter and the half in my office superbowl squares pool!

I'll have to confirm tomorrow morning (left the grid on my desk) but I should have scored almost $500 out of my two $10 squares.
