Can't you take on-line classes? I took 15 hours of on-line classes while the Mrs. was wrapping up her law school. Not much fun, though, as the only time I had to devote to studies were the hours between putting the son to bed and greeting the Mrs upon her arrival at home after her classes, and the occasional early Sat/Sun. that said, your state likely restricts the amount of on-line hours that can be applied towards the educational requirement, but still - it's an option. I couldn't find anything on the MD site about restricting it, so it may be wide-open or not even considered. But still, better to ask the question than just sit out a semester.
