FYI, I spit more than a NYC hooker on NYE.

Did not feel like I had even had an entire glass of wine.

Did whites first, easy on the tongue.

After a dozen reds, go swish some light white wine around your mouth and spit.

Really, I had far less palate fatique than I usually do after a day in winery tasting rooms. Also, zero plonk, so that probably helped.

due to some shifts in schedule, I am in a place that I wa supposed to be tomorrow, a day early. my reports don't know where I am, and there is nothing that I really want to see here that I havne't seen before or anything taht I want to do, and so I can sit quitely and get some overdue paperwork done. on top of that, I have a fantastic view from my hotel room. if I understood cricket it would be even better, because there are two games of cricket running in the forground of my view.

I had a pretty good week, too - the Japanese distributor I have been courting for a year made a decision to throw huge resources behind my product, so now the ball is in the court of my company. I had a free day in tokyo so got to see some sites, got to a great bath house and saw a day of sumu wrestling. all in all, a good week.

Whew. Fixed the coffee pot so it will brew a full pot before I wake up.
Started running again. Nothing big, just easy mileage. Hip hurts less today than it did yesterday. Good Lord I'm old. No I'm not.
Put a night light in the baby's room, and she slept through the night - FINALLY - WOOO 6 glorious hours of uninterrupted sleep!
Son finished his project last night, got some good comments on it at the expo, I met and caught up with a few parents we'd met earlier.
And - AND - he woke up and got dressed without the usual drama. That was a shocker
Now, his next project is to find a career and map how to get there. Funny thing: he picked Book Editor. The boy doesn't READ. WTF.
Volunteered to be a tutor for a pre-cal student - favor to a friend.
My transcript turned up yesterday, I'm sending it to the state board today to get cleared to sit the CPA exams. HELL YEAH.

oh, and I rickrolled a few bitches on FB last night.this morning.

I bought exactly none. This was a distributor event so it was all industry folks buying in quantity at wholesale.

Criminy, I don't think I've spent 7 hours watching television cumulatively since Jan 1.
