    I am taking my 17 year old daughter to NYC for a week to celebrate her (early) graduation from high school. Today I discovered that my favorite musical artist will be performing in a small venue when we are there. Bought tickets. Steve Earle. I can't believe it.

    Kind of like a marathon, you have to train for it. Months of obsessive preparation.

    Oh, SPEAKING OF, I think I've found marathon #2. March, close to home. Small field, loop course, fairly flat, decent scenery but with most outlier courses there will be miles of *nothing* to catch the eye.

    you do gargle the wine during tastings though.. which entails a high possibility of sublingual (under the tongue) alcohol diffusion. plus sublingual absorption is a more direct and quicker way for a drug to be absorbed (it doesn't even go through liver metabolism first).

    Fair point...

    The amount of alcohol must be minimal though sublingual absorption but after 250 tastings, the result must be interesting.
