It's a good thing you have them backing you as surgeons are notoriously poor earners.
There is this poor woman came in car accident. Six months pregnant. They don't handle it down in the ER because there are some serious internal injuries. So they call me in, less than six hours of sleep for my last shift. But I come in. Well I take one look at the situation and I know operation immediate. ASAP. Stat. So look, I take my scalpel and I open that woman up. After three hours of intensive surgery. We stop the bleeding. Save that woman's life, save that unborn child's life.
Then, just after Christmas last year she comes back in to thank me for saving her life, her child's life and giving her child the experience of her first Christmas.
No thanks necessary. Just doing my job, ma'am.
^^ lulz, drinking again? i think you posted that a few days ago. ^^

I could very possibly buy the house I thought I would not be able to buy. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG
select SFers will be invited to the housewarming
Weren't you saying that you couldn't afford a car a few months ago? How in the world are you buying a house?
Also, having a mortgage makes loving your job a lot easier.
the house is incredibly cheap and the payments would be less than my rent.
My one biggest fear is that it'll be a cash only auction with no financing. which would basically kill my dream. UGH. should have looked at it when I first saw the for sale sign over the summer, could have had financing and been paying that shit.
It's not so much a "house" as it is a "storage unit".
When you strip away all the sentiment, they're all storage units.
