After two years in Philly, I've finally found a good, casual, Japanese-owned sushi place that serves fresh fish on nicely seasoned rice. Too bad I have to drive across the bridge to Jersey to eat there, and too bad it's in a super odd and frankly hideous building, but worth it nonetheless.

His restaurant is very very good. Completely casual, becomes a bar at night... expect dancing on the tables etc, very crazy.

It's incredibly small, maybe 30 seats total... so you need a reservation.

Ever since Chuck won on Iron Chef 'Murica, it's almost impossible to get a seat.

It's my favorite. You might also enjoy Blue Fin in Plymouth Meeting.

Crabtree & Evelyn's, how evil the company may be, all butter hazelnut biscuits are great.
