My office has been too warm lately. It's making all the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in my candy drawer a bit too soft.
Reese's belong in the fridge/freezer, never in a drawer.

I don't know how you state workers put up with such hellish conditions.
I can't believe the tax payers of MI are willing to pay for heating his office.

Right to Work will be the death of me! Can't wait for our legislature to repeal that here.

FWIW, the individual Easter Reese's and the Halloween Reese's have the perfect chocolate:peanut butter ratio. Far superior to the traditional peanut butter cups.

Property crime in my neighborhood (Adams Morgan, for you DC residents) has gotten really bad recently. I'm talking shoplifting, smashed glass doors of stores, and thefts from apartment buildings (including mine). I'm not sure what can be done about the problem, other than being vigilant about locking your apartment door whenever you leave, limiting strangers you let into your building, and picking up packages from the mail room as soon as they are dropped off.

My colleague has lived in chicago since we met in the mid 00’s. He finally gave up on city living and moved his family out of the city.

I was shocked at his fear of car jacking. That just doesn’t enter my mind in Boston. My biggest worry is not curbing my wheels while parallel parking. I can’t imagine worrying about such things.

Is Madam’s Organ still around? I’ve always enjoyed that place, mostly for the name

Instagram has been primarily ads for a while now but yesterday I was feeling particularly targeted when an advertisement for a Steely Dan t-shirt popped up in my feed. So I made my first purchase directly through Instagram.

I sit down today to scroll through while eating some toast and relaxing and literally every other post in my feed is for some sort of vintage looking t-shirt company. Every. Other. Post.:brick:

I forgot who did it, but I watched this bit where they stopped people wearing vintage band t-shirts and asked them to name 3 songs by the band on their t-shirt.

one girl couldn’t name 3 Beatles songs :brick:

Yeah it's still there. One of the few places I recognized on that 18th St. strip when last in DC. Lived at 16th & T in the late '90s and spent many an evening in Adams Morgan.
