I had something coming from pilot freight. No word, no ability to look up tracking number, no one should answer where it was after 9 days.

Then I get a text at 7:30 Friday morning asking if they can deliver. I tell them anytime in the afternoon. They ask how about 9am. Tell them no, so they tell me it will have to be Saturday or Monday then.

Saturday comes, no mysterious texts. No one at pilot knows anything about where the item is.

Monday, I fee call again. After several "that's weird" they finally tell me it arrived at RDU and that I should get it tomorrow.

My best guess: a driver tried stealing it decided he didn't like it, and tried covering his tracks by casually driving it across the country off the books.
