I never got into Cousin Iz. I think you have to be born and raised there to get him.

I got my first 'could not deliver to this address/location unaccessible' from USPS this week. Especially aggravating considering our mail arrived that day. I'm assuming the dude just missed the package in his van and had to mark some excuse for why it didn't arrive on time (it came the next day with the normal mail)
Got a delay from UPS due to "severe weather conditions..." in Vernon, CA lol.
In fairness, it IS raining. Might be well be an apocalypse in this area.

Some dude is hounding me on eBay over issues that are clearly USPS's fault... I'm worried I'm about to pick up my first negative feedback.

His **** got delivered today and he left me a positive feedback right away ?‍♂️

Had 6 auctions end last night and I'm going to actually drop them at the PO (rather than my building's mail room) just to make sure they get scanned in...but 2 of these buyers haven't paid yet. C'mon guys, I put stuff on ebay so I can just throw it in a box and say goodbye and not have to wait around for flakey craigslist people.

i can understand the siren song of the auction. i like the format and use it from time to time,

generally tho prefer binobo as i get more latitude to screen potential problems

I usually use BIN/obo if I have something valuable and know what its worth or if it is rare and might take time to find the buyer.

But auctions are great for when you just want stuff gone. Especially things that seem too easy to sell/valuable to just donate or things that you know the thrift store won't be able to find a home for. Mostly just trying to keep stuff out of the landfill and get a little cash as a bonus.

Thrift store won't know what to do with a random computer part, but somebody on ebay will pay $20 and put it into a system...or somebody will pay me $61 for the phone I bought in 2016.

Also I'm moving on Saturday, so the fact that you can list it and have it disappear in a week is ideal. Didn't even bother to take high-quality pictures or make nice listings this time around...just used the app to take photos and basically accepted whatever they pre-filled based on similar auctions.

I felt this. Why can’t I just be in shape without having to get in shape.

So, I inadvertently ordered food for pick up from a "ghost kitchen".

Now I'm standing around with all of the door dash/Uber eats/gig economy drivers waiting to pick up my food that was supposed to take 5-15 minutes and has now been 30.

This must be a miserable job...I mean I knew it was, but I can't imagine standing here on the clock just waiting...You ain't gonna make minimum wage if your $3 delivery requires a bunch of wait time.
