I know it was sometimes in the 70s I was at a wedding reception in a hotel in downtown San Jose. I was already well into the mind altering substances but the open bar was slow setting up so I went down stairs to the lobby bar for a drink. It so happened that as I ordered my scotch I noticed on the tv they were just getting set to run the Kentucky Derby. Lucky me I'm jumping up and down cheering on my favorite horse. After the finish I noticed everyone in the bar was just sitting as though oblivious to this historic event. The bartender handed me my drink and I asked " wassup nobody into the Derby?" He said " Well it was better the first three time we watched it"

The good news is the Texas supreme court is looking at her appeal which is a good sign that they have something to say about this.

Knowing Texas they want to give her a longer sentence. But maybe there will be a good outcome.
